On Unpredictable People

I came to the realization that I need to figure out how people's attitudes work .

Seriously !

That is something that I desperatley want to do ASAP , just in order to anticipate how people think , how people act , and how people react .

It is hard when you live a life and have people all around you with very unpredictable behaviours, mood swings and childlike behaviours .

What I will not stand for a second, is big-old-grown-ass-people behaving like kids. That is just plain stupid, foolish , selfish and arrogant .Those qualities I can assure you , I am a fan of none .

But , you know what , that is life . And no matter how much you see people as mature, or even assume that they are mature , think again . Life has taught me not to assume shit , because that shit might fire back at you, and boy it is going to stink real bad !

Oh , and what do they say; " It was a waste of time ! "

Oh PPPPLLLLEEEEAAASSSSEEEE ! GIVE ME A BREAK !

Waste of time ?! Who the hell are you kidding ?

I have made mistakes in my life, and those include being nice, and in some case , being extra nice.

Well , you know what ? ...FUCK BEING NICE !

Seriously , if you have a problem with me, and I know for sure, I have nothing to do with it, then SOLVE IT !or you can kiss my behind for all I care . I cant be bothered for all of these kidergarden games, when I have actual grown up problems to deal with in my life. You see ,may be nobody told you , but I actually happen to have A LIFE !

On Foreign Movies : Three Monkeys (Turkey)

So , I decided to watch a foreign movie last night . And it was Turkey's entry into this year's Oscar race.

A friend of mine, who told me about the movie ,lent it to me .Ironically, it came from his country and a relative of his was producing it, but he hadn't watched it yet .

I did !

And I liked it ! Even though I couldnt understand a word of what they said .Thank God for subtitles

The movie tells a story about a miscommunication issues, mistakes and errors of judgement , all following the imprisonment of the patriarch of a working class Turkish family . The movie follows the story of a nuclear family in Turkey , consisting of a father , mother and son.The father works as a driver for a local politician , the mother works in large kitchen/restaurant and the son dreams of owning is own car. The story begins when the politician accidently kills off a passenger on the road , and he asks the driver to go to jail instead of him in return for a lumpsum that he will pay after he gets released . While the father is in jail ,a lot of things happen , and this is where you have to watch the movie to find out .

At first, I thought the film's title was somewhat confusing and didnt make sense .But later, I figured out that the three monkeys possibly refer to the 3 family members , one who doesnt want to talk , one doesnt want to hear and one who doesnt want to see different things.The movie , felt like an independent noire genre movie , except it was coloured. Great art direction , cinematography and direction . There are alot of metaphors thrown in here and there . Watchout for turkish cinema , and stop watching those soaps .

Disappointment

It has been another long day .. long hours of waiting .. and then nothing !

I decide to take a step further , that I myself was not really convinced with at the begining .The more I walked down the road , the more I believed in myself, and believed in the purpose of why I was running that mile .

My friends and family were cheering me , and supporting me all the way through . I know some of them were as excited as I am , if not more, to finish this journey of anticipation.I hoped to run across the finish line , with arms stretched wide open ...

But , I didnt !

I hoped and prayed and wanted to win really bad . There were better athletes I guess . Older than me in the business you might say . With "better" experiences perhaps.

Was it something that I did ? Or said ?Was my technique wrong ? Perhaps , I lacked necessary training ? I dont know , but I am waiting to find out .

Am I disappointed ? Hell yeah . Would I make this a reason to let me down ? Hell No .
If anything , this would push me further towards leaving a legacy to all the future runners with me in this team.

Why didnt I run a different race, where I could have assured myself a spot in the top 3 . It is because I didnt want to . I have been doing this exercise for a while now, and it was about time to try something different .Something challenging . Something exciting.

And so I did , but in doing so ,I understood where I am , and started to fathom what my next step would be .

I wish everyone who won the race all the best , and I know I will be a WINNER next year !

I am back !

It has been over 2 months now since I last wrote. I have survived through christmas, muharram, project,s the new year and finals.

It was a while , and I wanted to write about alot of things .Things that include books, movies , current affairs, the war on Ghazza, but I didnt have the time to , or was busy with a lot of random stuff.

I think that at this moment, my life needs some kind of sorting out. I need to settle a bit, prioritise , and stop running around doing all kinds of stuff.

Dont get me wrong! Actively participating in things is good, but can get overwhelming.So this year I have not had any new resolutions made, because I know I am not going to keep them like every other year that passed. Instead, I decided to put in order short term goals.That would be much effective
